Biblestudy and American Idol

Tonight was our young adult biblestudy...we meet mostly every week and we study different books of the bible, and have dessert. It's a really fun biblestudy and the couples that come all bring something wonderful and unique to the study...Josh Bunce is our leader and I really enjoy the way he challenges my thoughts and makes me look at things in a way I wouldn't have before.
So tonight...we had a biblestudy potluck and game night. The food was good...but the game was awesome! This group of young couples is amazing and to play games with them is truly fun and exciting! We played Catch Phrase and laughed and laughed.
Then half of the group went home...a few of us staye to hang out some more. We watched American Idol and it was much more fun to watch it with our friends then alone. Thank goodness for good friends that we can just be with and not stress about how we look, feel...etc.
As for American Idol...well, I'm not to impressed and I have to say anybody else watching can you believe those totally feminine guys..Yuck! Michael Johns is the one to vote for!!!

Trying this blog thing again..

I'm trying to do this blog thing again...I blogged quite a bit of last year and it was ok but I really struggled to feel like it was worth it and fun etc. So at the start of 2008 I didn't blog at all...but recently I have been journaling and I am realizing how much it really helps...I think I should blog this year and give it one last chance. :)
So here I am starting over and changing the way I blog...being more involved with my blog. Also I decided that if I'm gonna give this blog thing a go I have to be diligent with it..otherwise it gets away from me...it's kind of like my scrapbooking...I love to scrap but it takes time, dedication and real commitment.
So I'm commiting to blogging and scrapbooking regularly...I hope this year be a better year for both. :)
